About the Conference Medsin Oxford is delighted to host the Global Health Conference in 2008. This national conference, held annually at institutions across the country, is a fantastic opportunity to bring together hundreds of students from all over Britain and to educate and inspire these future healthcare professionals. |
Our aims We aim to create a dynamic environment of lectures, debates and workshops to encourage delegates to think about pressing issues in global health - often subjects that aren't taught as part of traditional medical training. |
Taking action We also hope to connect the eminent thinkers of today with the new leaders of tomorrow, motivating both to take action in tackling health inequalities, at home and abroad. |
Organising Committee The conference organising committee consists of students from Oxford University. It is a great honour for us to organise this conference, and I hope that you will find it just as inspiring and exciting. |
